Providence, RI – June 25, 2020 – Timothy P. Lynch, an attorney with Marasco & Nesselbush, LLP, a Providence-based injury law firm, has earned the prestigious Rising Star designation from Thomson Reuters, one of the world’s most trusted providers of information and independent analysis.
Rising Star designation is part of Thomson Reuters’s Super Lawyers rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. Each “Rising Star” has attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive, and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys. The Rising Star designation is for attorneys under 40 years of age or who have practiced for less than 10 years. Only 2.5% of Rhode Island attorneys earn the Rising Star designation in any given year.
“Tim Lynch has been an invaluable member of our team for nearly ten years and has demonstrated skill, compassion and tenacity in his representation of clients”, said Attorney Joseph P. Marasco, a founding partner of Marasco & Nesselbush. “Tim’s designation as a Rising Star is a welcome recognition of his excellence as an attorney. We couldn’t be prouder of our colleague.”, added Co-founding partner Donna Nesselbush.
“I’ve always believed there is more to being an attorney than simply providing clients with quality legal services,” said Lynch. “Our clients are generally going through trying times, both physically and emotionally, and I’ve considered it equally important to be the best legal advocate I can be while also being patient and compassionate and helping to shoulder the burden of our client’s problems. I’m humbled to be named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and will continue my approach to the practice of law.”
Attorneys nominated as Super Lawyers or Rising Stars are evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Attorney Lynch graduated cum laude from Northeastern University in 2007 and magna cum laude from New England School of Law in 2010, where he served as an editor of the Law Review. He is admitted to the practice of law in the United States District Court, District of Rhode Island and District of Massachusetts.
Attorney Lynch is a member of the Rhode Island Association for Justice, The Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the American Association for Justice.
