Marasco Nesselbush Charitable Foundation
To further our mission of serving the community, Marasco & Nesselbush launched a charitable foundation in 2013. In just 14 months since its inception, the foundation had already raised more than $31,000 for local charities and non-profit organizations. And the work continues.
The law firm’s clients and Facebook friends nominate organizations to receive contributions from the foundation. All of Marasco & Nesselbush’s attorneys and staff contribute to the foundation and vote on the nominees to select which will receive funds. At the end of 2014, the firm chose five organizations to receive a total of $5,000. They included:
- The Tomorrow Fund
- Youth Pride Inc.
- Amos House
- McAuley House
- The Brain and Spine Tumor Foundation
- The Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island
Clients are invited to nominate charities that have had a vital impact on them personally or any organization that they know does good work in our community.
